Wedding Invitation


If the bride's parents are deceased, her older brother may issue the invitation; if the brother is younger, the bride and groom may issue their own invitation. The following wording is used:

IF BROTHER IS MARRIED:
Mr. and Mrs. Sean Disney
request the honour* of your presence
at the marriage of his sister
Minnie Ann Disney
to
Mickey Matthew Mouse
Saturday, the first of April
two thousand four
at five o'clock in the evening
St. James Cathedral
Orlando, Florida

IF BROTHER IS SINGLE:
Mr. Sean Disney
request the honour* of your presence
at the marriage of his sister
Minnie Ann Disney
to
Mickey Matthew Mouse
Saturday, the first of April
two thousand four
at five o'clock
St. James Cathedral
Orlando, Florida


PLEASE NOTE: If the couple are getting married in a church, the word "honour" is used instead of "honor".
