If the bride's parents are divorced but both want to issue the wedding invitation, her mother uses her maiden name with her divorced husbands name, and the following wording is used:

request the honour* of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter

at five o'clock in the evening

PLEASE NOTE: If the couple are getting married in a church, the word "honour" is used instead of "honor".
